As an authorized user, Our Founder’s Compass hereby grants you a license to reproduce or redistribute individual written articles herein in any medium, commercial or otherwise, without express permission provided you do not alter the words or create derivative works, and that appropriate citation is provided in your work(s).
All content posted on this site by Our Founder’s Compass or by anyone authorized by Our Founder’s Compass to post content on this site shall remain the intellectual property of its authors who retain full redistribution rights as well as legal liability for their work. Comment Policy
As a service to site visitors Our Founder’s Compass enables interactive comment features on selected articles at the discretion of Our Founder’s Compass. These comment features are made available to the public under the following conditions and terms. If you do not wish to abide by these terms of use, you are free to refrain from using the comment feature.
At Our Founder’s Compass comments and questions are highly encouraged. Comment spam is neither appreciated nor allowed; at least to the extent that it can be prevented. Various tools are employed by Our Founder’s Compass on this Web site to reduce comment spam. For example, in addition to completing the required fields of name and email address prior to submitting a comment, the random characters in a CAPTCHA anti-spam form must be correctly identified. This is not done to discourage individuals from commenting and participating in discussion. This is done to prevent the submission of comment spam by automated bots. The Akismet comment spam identification service is also enabled on this site.
Note: If you aren’t sure or can’t quite make out the characters in the CAPTCHA window there is a button you can click to generate a different set of characters. If that doesn’t work for you, click on the speaker icon to hear the characters spoken. Listen carefully. It’s a computer generated voice so it is what it is.
The current policy is that you do not have to be a registered user and/or logged in to submit a comment. However, a logged in registered user does not have to enter a user name and email address to submit a comment and the CAPTCHA form is hidden so the CAPTCHA code need not be identified in order to submit a comment.
Regardless, by choosing to use the comment feature you are agreeing to these rules.
You are solely responsible for anything you post. Currently all comments are placed in a moderation queue for approval for release by Our Founder’s Compass. At some point in the future registered user comments may be allowed to post directly without passing through a moderation/approval cycle.
Other features may be enabled to screen submitted comments for words, an excessive number of hyperlinks, specific URLs, etc, and place any such comments found to contain screened for items into a moderation queue for review before posting. Regardless of whether or not comments pass through word and/or spam screening and may or may not be placed in a queue to be released by an administrator, each and every comment will not be read by Our Founder’s Compass for content that may or may not have legal liability implications for you as the submitter of the comment. Therefore, you agree to accept full legal liability for any and all postings you make.
Posting your thoughts on someone else’s web site is a privilege, not a right. Your privilege to do so on ourfounderscompass.com is contingent upon your ability to refrain from using any defamatory, libelous or abusive language and your ability to keep your postings relevant to the current topic of discussion, to adhere to the copyright laws of the United States of America. You may not use this web site to post commercial solicitations, reveal private information of others without their permission, engage in cracking, hacking, or other illegal conduct. By participating in this blog, you also agree to grant Our Founder’s Compass the unlimited right to use anything you may post or email to the site. Any submission of yours may be edited, deleted, or reused by Our Founder’s Compass. You hereby waive any and all right, title and interest in your submissions. If you do not wish your communications to be made public, you must specify this in your communication.
Any comment posting found to be in violation of the terms of use may be deleted or edited. Repeat offenders may have their posting privileges or access to the web site revoked. Our Founder’s Compass reserves the right to cancel your account at any moment.
